Jake’s Buttermilk Pie
1/2cup – Melted Butter
1-1/2cups – Sugar
3 tbsps – All-Purpose flour
3 – Eggs Beaten
1/4tsp – Salt
1tsp – Vanilla
1cup – ButterMilk
1 – 9″ deep dish gram cracker pie shell.
Preheat oven to 400deg F
Beat the butter and sugar together until light.
Add the eggs and beat till well blended, and then beat in the vanilla.
Sift the dry ingredients together and add the batter alternatively with the buttermilk, beat until smooth.
Pour batter into the deep dish pie shell and place in oven.
Cook at 400deg F for 10 minutes and then reduce temp to 350degs F and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a knife can be inserted and come out clean.
Pie should come out a Golden Brown.
